Please note Sellers, we strongly recommend that you follow the following shipping protocol when shipping an item to a Buyer:
1. Ship the product via registered mail, or
2. Ship product via Fed-Ex, that requires a signature,
3. Ship product via UPS, that requires a signature.
If the buyer has subscribed to the Escrow feature that SportsDues Auction provides, the funds will not be released from the Escrow account. If you have shipped an item that does not follow shipping protocol and the Buyer states that they have not received the product, then you as a Seller will not have a leg to stand on.
Please note Buyers, we strongly recommend that you subscribe to the "Escrow" feature. If a "Seller does not ship an item and you have paid the Seller, then we have no proof as to whether you received the item or not. By subscribing to the Escrow feature, you can pay for an item, but the funds will post to an Escrow account, awaiting for your confirmation that your terms have been met with satisfaction.
To BID on an item, type your bid amount in the box next to the item description, and click the 'Go' button. Your bid must be above the Minimum Bid amount specified in the box.
You will be asked to confirm your bid. Fill in your username and password and click 'Submit' to complete your bid.
To SELL an item, you must be a registered user.
Click on 'Sell an Item' at the top of the window to create a new auction. Indicate the title and description of your item, and select a graphic image from your local hard drive if you wish to upload a picture of the item.
Specify the minimum bid and reserve price (optional) for your auction, and what types of payment you will accept. While this site allows you to specify payment methods, it does not process the payment for you.
Choose the category in which your item should be. You may suggest a new category, but you must select an existing category for your new auction.
When SELLING an item, you may enter a description of the item, upload a photograph, and indicate the minimum bid and a reserve price for the item. You also indicate what payments you will accept and whether you or the buyer will pay shipping.
Sellers are notified by email when an auction is concluded. If a winner exists, the winner and seller are provided each other's contact information.
